Ingredients for brown sugar scrub:
- 1 cup brown sugar
- ¼ cup coconut oil
- 1 tsp honey
- 1 tsp pure vanilla extract
- Pretty container to store your sugar scrub.
My container was purchased at Hobby Lobby, but here is a link to a really cute glass container with a wooden spoon that I found on Amazon.
My skin has been SO dry lately, likely because I wash my hands about a million times a day. This sugar scrub feels wonderful and puts a protective shield on your hands.
My sweet daughter made some for me recently and I had to make more to show all of you! She told me it was easy and she was certainly correct.
How to make the brown sugar scrub:
I heated the coconut oil for about 15 seconds, mixed the above ingredients together, and that is it! I used my hands to mix it to ensure there were no big clumps.
Seriously, this process is so quick and easy. Plan on a grand total of 5 minutes to gather your supplies AND make the scrub.

When using it, put a good size dollop on your hands and rub it in, massaging your hands as you go. It feels really great, I promise!

Make sure you find a container that has a tight seal. When you keep a lid on your home made sugar scrub, it will last for quite some time. You could also keep some in the shower!
This scrub would be perfect for a young girl's sleepover if she wanted to have a spa night with her friends. But I must admit, it's also pretty fantastic for grown up girls as well!
