Sugar scrubs are great for exfoliating dry skin. In about 10 minutes, you can make your own brown sugar scrub with coconut oil and enjoy soft hands this winter! You probably even have all of the ingredients in your pantry!

- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 cup coconut oil
- 1 tsp honey
- 1 tsp pure vanilla extract
You’ll also want a pretty container to store your sugar scrub! Mine was purchased at Hobby Lobby, but here is a link to a really cute glass container with a wooden spoon that I found on Amazon.
My skin has been SO dry lately, likely because I wash my hands about a million times a day. This sugar scrub feels wonderful and puts a protective shield on your hands.
My sweet daughter made some for me recently and I had to make more to show all of you! She told me it was easy and she was certainly correct.
I heated the coconut oil for about 15 seconds, mixed the above ingredients together, and that is it! I used my hands to mix it to ensure there were no big clumps.

Doesn’t it look scrumptious?! When using it, put a good size dollop on your hands and rub it in, massaging your hands as you go. It feels really great, I promise!

When you keep a lid with a good seal on it, it will last for quite some time. You could also keep some in the shower!
