My simple command center is on the edge of our kitchen. I covered an old cork board with burlap to make our bulletin board which looks nice with our other decor.
It's a great place to post kids paperwork from school, sports calendars, chore charts, and other timely information that we don't want to get lost in the shuffle.
Plus, it's nice to have a specific location for pictures and special paperwork they are proud of.
My kids are starting middle school and high school this year, but they still take pride in displaying their accomplishments.
