What a crazy time of year! Back to school is here. I don’t know about you, but getting our calendar organized can be a daunting task as the kids’ activities ramp up again. I’ve created a printable schedule for after school activities to help save your sanity (and mine!).

This summer was a steady flow of activities at our home. Each day had something, but it was manageable. Perfect!

But, over the past few weeks, all the emails have started coming in from school, coaches, music teachers, etc. telling me to add this or that to our calendars. I won’t lie, I’ve felt a bit anxious about it on a number of occasions.

In talking to my other mom friends, I’m learning I’m certainly not alone. So, I created a free printable for after school activities to help you organize your family’s busy schedule. Let’s declutter our lives, organize our schedules, and regain control of our homes.

Okay, perhaps I’m being a bit dramatic, but I definitely think most of us could use a few tips for getting organized. We all want our kids to have a great first day of school and getting our acts together from the beginning is a great way to start the school year.

This activity chart will keep the information in one place for easy reference. Take the time to write down an email and contact number for the coaches, teachers, bus drivers.  It is inevitable that this information will be needed at one time or another.

If you have a command center, post the printable schedule for after school activities there!

BUT…I know you are here to regain some sanity and free time isn’t likely a luxury right now. SO, save those projects for post back-to-school organization;-)

For the Bullet Journal Lover:

Posting our family schedules for my kids and husband is crucial so we are all on the same page.

But, I’m still a Bullet Journal girl! If you haven’t heard of the Bullet Journal, read my post on how I use this system to organize our lives. Keeping my planner with me is a bit like carrying around a security blanket.

My favorite part of a bullet journal is having an index at the beginning of the notebook. When each page of your notebook is numbered, all you have to do is list the contents of your notebook into your index for later reference. No more post it notes everywhere!

Below is a sample Activities / Schedule for the bullet journal lovers!
