Another helpful tip for unscrambling words is to look for any prefixes or suffixes within the jumbled letters. Common prefixes might be something like "dis", "de", "ir", "mid", etc. Common suffixes might be something like "ful", "ment", "ion", etc.

A scrambled word is frequently referred to as a jumbled word. This just means the letters are jumbled in an out-of-order fashion.
