After the holidays, I always feel the need to purge!  We recently had a round of sickness at my house and I knew organizing something would make me feel better.  A place I ignored for way too long was our hallway linen closet.  It is usually stuffed with everything you can imagine and it finally made its way to the top of my to-do list!  It was time for a linen closet makeover.

Before and After Linen Closet Makeover

Pretty bad, right?!  I’m not sure why I waited so long.  The entire closet clean out only took me around 30 minutes and it looks so much better, don’t you think?

My daughter helped me label the shelves.  One of our latest obsessions right now is washi tape! We have gotten quite the collection over the past few months, so we are always trying to find a way to use them.  This felt like the perfect opportunity.

We simply put washi tape on the shelves, then used our label maker (also a favorite at my house!) to label what linens belong on each shelf.  This will hopefully help me and the kids find things more easily as we each have a different size bed.

Certainly not perfect, but so much better!  Sometimes, I have to just start somewhere.
