Bullet Journaling is so addictive!  One of my favorite things about it is keeping all of my notes in one place.  This year my Thanksgiving Bullet Journal collection will help me get ready for the Thanksgiving holiday and I’m certain you will find something here you can use too!

Perhaps you caught my previous post about what it means to be thankful, grateful, and blessed? Taking time to reflect on what I am grateful for will hopefully keep me focused on what is truly important this holiday season.

In my bullet journal, I  listed all of the days in November and will be writing something each day that I am truly grateful for.

To keep me on track, I noted the day of the week as well as the date. See below.

Tips on Bullet Journals

If you aren’t familiar with bullet journals, a “collection” is a way of putting all of your notes about a particular topic in one place for easy access later.  I have collections for books to read, car maintenance log, doctor’s visits, blog post ideas, etc.

Click here for my modified version of bullet journaling.  The post explains how keeping an index at the beginning of the notebook allows you to quickly find what you are looking for.  So simple, but so helpful!

I use the Leuchtturm 1917 notebook.  I will admit it is a little more pricy than your average notebook.  But, all of the positives make it worth it to me!  In 2017 I used the emerald green notebook, but I purchased navy for 2018.

The pages are already numbered and dotted (LOVE), plus they are a bit thicker than those in a typical notebook.  Maybe I should put this notebook on my list of things I’m grateful for, lol!

Thanksgiving meal plan in Bullet Journal

Each year I keep a list for my own reference of who is bringing which dish to the Thanksgiving dinner with my husband’s family.  I’m getting hungry just thinking about it!

I don’t know about you, but I need simple ways to help me stay on top of busy times! This Thanksgiving bullet journal collection was easy to create and very functional, too!

Even if you don’t keep a traditional bullet journal, grab any notebook and keep all of your important notes in one place.  It’s so much more effective than having post-it notes everywhere.

What do you use to stay organized this time of year? Do you like paper/pencil organization or do you prefer electronic?  I actually use both but try to limit how many tools I use otherwise it’s just too much to keep up with!

  1. I love this! My oldest daughter has been getting into bullet journaling, and I would love to start too. I have a little fear of messing it up, so I just can’t get myself to start! Thanksgiving would be a fun one to do, and one that the two of us can tackle together 🙂

    1. My daughter (she’s 11) bullet journals too. We have girls’ time where we both add pages together. It’s really a fun thing to do together because it always gets us talking! Don’t worry about messing up. The best way to start is to just dive in.

  2. I love the Gratitude Log! And I really like the way you designed your bullet journal!
